Buy your GE digital camera at The Bon-Ton Stores : General Imaging has announced the addition of The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. to the list of retailers carrying its products. The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc., is now selling the GE A730 model at 263 of its stores that carry Home assortments in the Northeast, Midwest and upper Great Plains. In addition, the G1 model is available at the company’s websites. Bon-Ton’s e-commerce business is accessible online and through the websites of the company’s six other nameplates: Bergner’s, Boston Store, Carson Pirie Scott, Elder-Beerman, Herberger’s and Younkers. GE cameras also offer movie mode, continuous-shot mode, and a variety of special scene modes - all at prices far less than many of their competitors

Panorama stitching is proving to be an especially popular feature, allowing the user to join three images together seamlessly to take in landscapes and other wide vistas.

The G1 offers 7 megapixels, a 3x zoom and a 2.5-inch screen as well, but its drawing card is its ease of handling and pocket-friendly dimensions (3⅝ inches wide x 2½ inches high).
